Mary (left), the new gorilla at Zurich zoo, Switzerland. Mary was raised by humans in Stuttgart’s zoo because her mother neglected her. Since she has arrived in Zurich she is learning the social rules inside a gorilla family and is slowly integrating herself into her new group

A rescued four-month-old orangutan named Opet is seen at the Orangutan Care Centre and Quarantine run by Orangutan Foundation International in Pangkalan Bun in Central Kalimantan province, Indonesia. Opet was rescued by wildlife authorities from villagers who keep orangutans as pets and for the wildlife trade. Opet, together with 200 orangutans in the centre, will be reintroduced to the wild after the rehabilitation process
